Betty Jude Crock
This painting is named after my sister. Her name is Kelsie, but I love nicknames, and if you've met her, you'll know that she is an incredible cook and home keeper. When i lived in the Bay I called home and she had just given birth to my nephew, Maddox. She was learning about what it meant to be a mom, while teaching herself to sew and baking fresh scones.
Betty Jude Crock became her nickname, and it hasn't departed.
In true Betty Jude Crock fashion, she came walking down my long driveway in July with a fresh picked bouquet of flowers from her backyard, and freshly picked zucchini. I wasn't feeling great, and she brought flowers to brighten my spirits. The bouquet was stunning, and I couldn't help but paint it!
I love you BJC!
